Tony Woolliscroft has loved music since the age of 13. Bitten by the ‘Punk’ Music scene, buying records and going to gigs now for well over 40 years.
Picking up a 35mm camera and documenting his friends New Model Army he then built a portfolio with the help of his friend Craig Duffy, a concert promoter in London, this helped to score work with the music press.
Starting with RAW magazine he built strong relationships with artists like The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More and Bush to name a few. Joining Kerrang magazine he started working with the Foo Fighters and Biohazard.
Eventually leaving Kerrang to diversify his music photography he has since worked with blur, Gorillaz, Robbie Williams, the 1975 and Jimmy Eat World.
Tony has produced work for sports personalities book covers such as Steven Gerrard. Micheal Owen, Juan Mata and Pep Lijnders.
Still loving life and his work he is now in his 33rd year of professional photography.
